Early morning emails

Does anyone else find their emails from this site come through at unsociable hours? Mine pop through at 6.30am and although at the moment I'm up at that time due to school run, in the holidays or on days I'm unwell I don't want to be woken up by them! I just think it's odd being as a lot of us our main thing is fatigue.

There is a facility on most computers/ tablets where you can turn off any audible notification of incoming emails.

On an iPad you can go into settings & change the notification of emails,,but I don't know how you do it on a PC.

By the way you get an extra hour+ ...my emails comes through at 0510!

Sleep well when you alter your settings!

Doesn't matter what time they come through on a pc as it doesn't make a noise. I don't really want to be changing the settings on my phone as I have important work emails that come through in the day time and I won't remember to change the settings twice a day. I could however just spam the emails from here and just look at them when I want. It just seems odd that they come through so early, when most people on here suffer with fatigue. Why can't they be set to go out a bit later that's all.

You could, of course, always switch off your phone overnight...

I could but I have on for emergencies as I can't hear the landline from upstairs. Emails could just be sent a bit later it's not like they are an emergency.

But the forums are international - whatever time they arrive it will be overnight for someone.

Hi Nikki246 ,

LUPUS UK don't actually have any control over when email notifications are sent. This is all controlled by the HealthUnlocked team who manage hundreds of different health communities. If you want to pass along your feedback though, you can email them directly at support@healthunlocked.com

I turn the sound off on my phone when I go to bed.

But a phone should have an option to not check your emails unless you select emails, surely? Unless I actively go into my mail on my iPhone, it doesn't send me anything. And you can always switch notifications off. Maybe do a bit of a google hunt on how to manage your phone notifications.

Turn it off or unsubscribe. I don't mind there's a lot of information about lupus that I can learn about on this forum.
