Hi Everyone:
I hope all of you had a good Christmas. We did, got to spend one more Christmas with Dad.
I have already used one of my Christmas gifts. Laura gave me gift certificates for pedicures and massages. Great gifts for those of us with lupus.
It is still in the 70 degree Fahrenheit here. Went barefoot to get pedicure the lady was extreamly cautious with rashes/blisters and done very well. As she was massaging my feet on the bottom she ask if I ever wore shoes? I told her I couldn't wear shoes due to lupus, she said with your rashes/blisters I understand. She then told me as long as she has done pedicures, she had never seen feet as tough as mine were. She complemented me on keeping feet and nails clean and neat since I had to go barefoot. She used "OPI Samoan Sand" polish on my nails that's makes them look like a natural color. I'm a guy so I don't want my nails to look like they have nail polish on them.π
I have to go barefoot now, because of lupus, and lupus has changed my life, but my motto is still the same!
π£I WILL NOT LET LUPUS CONTROL MY LIFEπ£
I still do everything I want to do, I still go everywhere I want to go but, I have to go and do stuff barefoot now! After 2 years of being barefoot I have gotten use to it!
WISHING ALL OF YOU A
πHAPPY NEW YEARπ
