As most of you know I have not made many post lately due to my Dad's health, so---

To all my friends on here, Thanks For all the support during the trying times with my Dad! He lost the battle this week with his Pulmonary fibrosis!

He has gone to his new home! He can now breath without fighting for his breath. He passes away this past week!

Gonna miss my Daddy!

Now I have to try and keep Mother in good health! Mother and Dad use to travel before he got bad and couldn't. Dad told mother to go places when he was gone. Mother is wanting to do something. So Laura and I are taking her for a weekend next month, after Easter, to the mountains in Tennessee.

Thank you! It has been difficult for the last 8 months or so. I would see him every day for several hours. Staying day and night at the hospital. Now to find what is normal?

  • It's not easy Tiras but in time you will get there, it's coming up for 5 years since I lost my dear mum and 17 my dad and I still miss them more than words can say, I think we slowly learn to live without their physical presence but they always stay in our hearts with our special memories and love of them, I still feel they are with me❀️

Make sure you look after yourself too, the early days are the hardest.

Thank you! Yes it was a huge loss. Dad and I were very close, he and I were fishing partners. (Untill he got to where he couldn't go). We done everything together. I spent time with him, I can say I don't have any regrets about not going to see him, I was there everyday! He was always there for me! I was there for him all the way to the end. Now to keep Mother in good health and find a new normal?

  • I totally understand. I have lost my Dad. 3 years ago now. I miss him and still forget that I can't phone him and chat. Life isn't the same, you just find a way to cope. Concentrate on the positives. And cherish the loved ones you still have with you even more. x
