GOSH lancslass: I thought I was the only one...have had this prob ever since I can remember...I just assumed it's cause I have a BIG head (😆 really, I DO: I wear a big hat size) but I also had a bad childhood accident (fall from height in head), + have early onset neuro cerebral symptomatology etc

Am looking forward to following your post 🤗

I'm glad I'm not alone. It's only really started a couple of month ago. Not sure whether it's the lupus or fibromyalgia. Having my bloods taken this afternoon so I will ask.

My head hurts (almost like a headache feeling) when I wrap a towel around after washing my hair...Not too tight either. So I can't have it on for long otherwise I will get a headache.. 😒

Yep!

I also thought it was just me.

Since very young I can remember wanted larger sized hair bands or hats as felt tight which was thought to be having large sized head for children's headgear but has continued to date.I always size up on hats ,not good on windy day as wheeeee off they go in the breeze😯, but even then my head gets sore but I also get this feeling with the arms? (Omg complete fog brain blonde moment 😣cant remember if thats the right word but the sides that fit over the ears) of my glasses.

I have just assumed its me being oversensitive and never thought of asking on here as GP previously just looked up and kind of ignored it when I mentioned it many years ago when I was too young to argue (they probably all wish I still had that mindset😉) so left it in my back of mind unticked hox.

Thanks for posting, sorry you experience this and my answer doesn't help you, as interesting to see if this is another unsung symptom of our collective likenesses .

You guys are not alone! I don't get this but I remember hearing my mom (SLE) saying this all the time. We couldn't figure out why.

Yes, all my life. Hairbands at school and school hats. Am ok with "soft" hats though. Towel round head after washing hair is uncomfortable too.

Another one here. Always. Thought it was just me.

Yes I do get a sore spot on my scalp, esp. if I wear a pony tail too long. It makes my hair hurt! I thought I was the only one too.
