For those of you who know me, you know my sence of humor. I saw this and I had to post this photo. I thought of Crusee. She told me I had beautiful legs I had to laugh. That is something a guy doesn't get very often at (least not a normal guy).
We have to laugh and make the best we can when we have Lupus.
So Crusee I saw this and thought about what you told me! LOL!
After shower I don't use a towel I put coconut oil on while I am still wet, then air dry and let the oil absorb into your skin. I try to stay undress for 20 to 30 minutes to let it absorbe in. After 3 or 4 days of doing this you can feel the difference. I will then apply as need during the day. This was recommended by my dermatologist .
Sometimes it is impossible to stay nude for that long.
Laura also has started doing this. I can tell the difference in the way her skin feels if she misses a day or two.
Give it a try and let me know if you can tell the difference?
Speaking of exposed, It is 5AM here, it is almost time for me to start getting ready to go to the lupus research center for the quarterly complete and totally exposed exam!
Made it through it today, and yes was totally exposed for over 4 hours while they examined every nook and cranny for lupus rashes/blister. Had some old ones going away and I did have a few new places starting. It is pretty much the same at every exam.
I've gotten used to being barefoot and exposed because of lupus!
Joking apart it must be a pretty traumatic experience.Good to hear that some if the o,s blusters going away but unfortunate that new ones appearing but I suppose if that that I'd the norm then it's to be expected, and at least it's being closely monitored..
I forgot to tell you on occasion, there is this gorgeous lady name Laura who will apply the coconut oil on me!β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ

PS- Laura wants to know why you are admiring my beautiful legs?
Ha-Ha- just kidding and having fun. She said admire all you want but, no touching! ππππ
I love to laugh and have fun. If I can make some one else who has our issue, laugh or smile for a few minutes to feel better then I have succeeded in helping some one.
So , I was watching youtube videos to help self- educate about my sle and I ran across this one that was actually made by a nurse who also has sle herself. It's not the type of video I was looking for but in the midst of all of the overly serious videos I was watching I actually needed a laugh. Sorry if it offends anyone but for most of us we can relate to what she's saying lol.
