Happy new month to you all! I have a dental infection and have been given augmentin for it. I just wondered whether anyone had any reactions to this as I'm on hydroxychloroquine, vit d, and some blood pressure meds. I have checked the thread and not really clear, so wondered if anyone can clarify / share different experiences please.
Thanks Tilcara

I take hydroxychloroquine, Vit D, multivitamin, Biotin, Biosil, Acerola (Vit C), methylfolate, methyl cobalamin (Vit B12), krill oil and also thyroid meds and have had no adverse reaction to Augmentin. I also took it due to a dental infection.
However we are all different and therefore react differently to medications. The only way to know is to try and to consult with the prescribing doc in the event you start having strange symptoms.
I've been on augmentin (aka coamoxiclav) for several years now. And haven't had any bad reactions re my other treatment plans (am on these daily oral meds: myco, hydroxy, prep, amitrip...and I also take daily high dose vit D)
At first I was on augmentin as 2 week courses for recurring complex persistent pattern infections (mainly UTI+pyelonephritis) due to my early onset primary immunodeficiency (started prior to treatment with immunosuppressants)
And 6 months ago immunology added daily augmentin to my therapeutic treatment plan. So far I'm still tolerating augmentin ok!
Here is a link to a NICE guidance on co amoxiclav + augmentin:
