I need to take Augmentin - Has anyone used this without issues?
Augmentin
is the one I am looking at right now as the bacteria is sensitive to it. Question: Has anyone here been able to tolerate this antibiotic while they were treating their B12 deficiency and were the side effects manageable? Did you take it while your nerves were still repairing?

Denied medical care because of GCA and Actemra.
I saw a 2nd ENT who put me on
Augmentin
.
Augmentin
caused a bad attack of vertigo. Ended up in ER. ENT referred me to a surgeon. Surgical consult is January 17th. If BP keeps on going this way I may not be here on January 17th.

I've asked the doctor if she could prescribe something else and she prescribed
augmentin
, but it is "not the drug of choice." Not sure what direction to now take.

Anaphylaxis from Augmentin (amoxicillin) after pneumonia, no previous penicillin allergy.
I read in the
augmentin
leaflet that there can be a rare interaction between pneumonia and
augmentin
causing anaphylaxis and wondered if anyone else had experienced this? I am in London, UK and am 42 yr old female.

Pain in legs and arms
He thinks maybe an infection so he started me on
augmentin
. My symptoms are headache fatigue, swollen lymph nodes, nausea and fever. Just the past two days i have developed debilitating pain in my legs and arms. I did some wood stacking a few days back and at first i thought it was from that.

Any advice would be great
I gave another specimen of sputum in a week later and the proteus was still there so I was started on a month of
augmentin
. Another specimen this week showed that proteus mirabilis is still there and the only advice I have been given by the respiratory nurses is to keep going with the

Which antibiotic was prescribed for bacterial overgrowth / dysbiosis / SIBO / IMO and did it have lasting effects?
There are some alternatives to try (neomycin,
augmentin
, ciprofloxacin, metronidazole , norfloxacin, etc.) and I am curious which one you have had and if it had lasting effects, did it really improve your symptoms.

New technique allows for identification of potential drugs to fight resistant bacteria
An example of this type of therapy is
Augmentin
, a prescription antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory tract, which is composed of the antibiotic amoxicillin and the inhibitor clavulanic acid.

Rifaximin (Xifaxan) and IBS (C) / bacterial disbalance, my experiences
Also very curious if symptoms will stay away after the course of antibiotics has ended or if they will gradually return, as has happened in the past when I took tetracycline and
augmentin
for other medical reasons. Fingers crossed.

Possible PID- please help me!
A different OB at the practice has now put me on
Augmentin
(amox/clav) twice a day for 10 days and asked me to start a birth control pill to keep my lining thin so there is less for bacteria to feed off. I am starting both of these things today. I have not yet been offered a lap.
