Purple fingers
Have you asked your doctor about or has he mentioned Raynaud's syndrome?
No as ive only just seen my rheumatologist for the first time and not due to see him yet and it's only recently starting happening
Been having this for many years. Its from lupus and raynalds disease. Cold weather and stress plays a big part in that. The feeling in my hands and feet is the worse feeling in the world.
And then it just disappears ? It's really painful never had it before
Yes it does disappear. Find a gd rheumatologists. Sounds like raynalds disease.
The only thing that confuses me is that I get it in warm water and not cold though
I have simultaneous raynauds & erythromelalgia + blood pooling due to Dysautonomia. These 3 conditions all give me purplish blue & sore colouring in my hands & feet (lips & ankles too 😉) 24/7 at different times in particular circumstances & positions.
Over the decades, I've learned to be pretty good at differentiating which problem is causing this colouring + soreness....but sometimes circumstance + position mean these conditions are working together to give me the colouring + soreness...eg when hands &/or feet are in downward positions the blood pooling gives these symptoms + if it's cold or hot at the same time, the raynauds & erythromelalgia join in....
So, try to take note of circumstances & positions: eg air & water temperature + the position your hands are in....my instinct is that you'd do best to keep a log of these observations & check in with your GP about this ASAP. Better safe than sorry 😏
