Eyes as dry as..

Still suffering with my dry eyes, and waiting to get an appointment at the eye hospital.

My left eye has been very bad over the weekend,  feels like something up under the lid. Using the latest drops have just made it worse. Bought a heated eye mask which didn't help at all.

This morning I have gone back to just using a saline nasal spray,  (in my nose) and guess what? It feels a bit better already!

???! Feeling confused and exasperated 😟😵

Oh well I hope that this may help someone else with simular problems.

Sterimar sea water nasal spray is the answer,  (at the moment anyway)

Hi sterimar sea water spray is available from boots.

I think there is a very mild one for babies and a normal one. It's also great for dry stuffy noses.

Comes in a large can which lasts for ages.

Hope it helps you. 🍀

hi i was told to try washing my lids with a cotton bud soaked in watereddown baby shampoo to unblock the tiny ducts . worth a try . i use viscose tears gel during the night when i wake and try to remeber to use them during the day to help build up a film in eyes    but i still get dry eyes but i do sleep with my eyes open at times son has seen me .  so that does not help

My eye doctor prescribed Restasis to help my eyes create the tears Sjogren's has taken away. I haven't yet filled it as it is too expensive for me but if you have good RX insurance, you should probably look into it. Right now, I use lubricate eye drops and have a humidifier in every room I spend time in.
