Hi all I've recently started getting swollen ankles & feet it is only after walking for a while. Does anybody else suffer from this? And know why it's happening. Other than that I am in the process of reducing prednisolone could it be this?

Yes fluid retention is a common side effect. Make sure you drink a good amount of water and put your feet up to reduce the swelling. If it does not subside see your gp.

A side effect to what? Prednisolone? I've never had it before I've been on it for 9 yrs. x

Sometimes reducing prenisolone can give you swelling due to the water retention. I can only presume as our bodies change we react differently.
