Has anyone experienced tenderness on their head but only on one half?
Tenderness: Has anyone experienced tenderness on... - LUPUS UK
Tenderness
Yes: it's my right half....this started up in my 30s and continues...my version of this flares alongside my chronic neuro cerebral symptoms. Hope you'll mention this to your dr soon...there can be so many reasons for this sort of thing...please don't just tough it out 🍀🌻 coco
Feel like it is one thing after another. Might give my nurse a ring tomorrow as haven't had bloods done since September.
Yes! I get the problems on the right side too - I had a nerve block put in by my rheumy last week for occipital neuralgia.
Hope the block helps..good to have a label for this👌👏
Thanks. Think it wears me down sometimes, but I keep getting back up and going thinking it could be worse
I have intense pressure and numbness down in my nostrils and into my mouth - and some severe pins and needles in my left side going up into my left eye. Several times this year I've had stroke-like episodes which have been classed as functional neurological episodes by a neurologist. No one has yet been able to explain why this has been predominantly on my left side though. It isn't exactly the kind of tenderness you describe, but I find the intense pressure hard to bear at times. If and when I ever get to the bottom of it I'll post to explain what I've learned. Like you I usually pick myself up from of gloom and near despair and put up with it.
I have chronic hemacrainia on the left side, at age 59. It bloomed into cluster headaches runing up the trigeminal nerve. I have stumped neurologists, rheumies. Now with two years of lupus, other neurologic styptoms have developed: poly neutopathic nerve disease and essential tremor in hands and feet. Any one else with similar complications, or is iy coincidental?
Hi , i get funny sensations almost like goosebumps when ur feeling cold but only on the left side of my head .i have Aps. so it may b due to that . Hope u get sorted . All the best Elfie
I get the bad headaches and a small area that feels like its bruised on left top side of my head. Left side of my face goes numb and sometimes my left leg and down my left arm also goes numb.
I also get pains & tingling in one side of my head, though it isn't any particular side. I often wondered if it was connected to my lupus or not. I have never asked about it, as i always have that much to see the Rheumatogist about, though i have been curious about it. Please let me know if you find out what it is.
