Has anyone else suffered breast tenderness?

Hi just wondered if anyone else has had breast tenderness on one side and numbness and tingling in arm. Not really painful more like pins and needles. I have SLE and lung fibrosis. So is this another lupus symptom? I am post menopausal so no longer have periods. Thank you in advance.

Get it checked. I had pain on one side and sent to breast clinic for reassurance. They found small lump, early stages, sorted. Don’t ignore just in case. Pain isn’t normal sign but hey, are we normal?

Thank you I will get it checked out x

Yes, pain, numbness and tingling of the upper arms in both side and breast tenderness. I’m post menopausal and using HRT patches as prescribed. I also have neck pain and think it’s all related to the JRA. My GP can’t be bothered to pursue it and as it’s a minor worry for me compared with some things I’m just living with it for now. I DO examine my breasts for lumps of course and have had a mammogram. I’ve found no way if alleviating it but hope you do. Let me know how you get on x

Do you only get this on one side?I have costochondritis which - typically - only gives symptoms on the left side. I have pain and tenderness around the ribs on this side which is sometimes also painful on breathing.

Good luck!

Yes it's only on my left side and pins and needles down my arm. My collarbone on that side is very tender to the touch too. I was going to phone my GP today to get it checked over but it's not there this afternoon. The painkillers must have worked! Thanks for your reply too!

Yes painkillers do help (I take Gabapentin for this and knee pain), but don't take the costochondritis pain away much - unfortunately. It might be worth talking this through with your GP when you can contact him, that is!

Take care

Can't remember the last time I actually saw my GP. When I have phoned they just tell me to go to A&E :( Take care too
