What is feeling good?

Do we ever feel good? I constantly feel that at least some part of my body aches or I have sores/mouth ulcer, or I am just dog tired. Is this our normal or should I be feeling better? On hydroxychloroquine, meloxicam and thyroxine.

I never have a day when nothing hurts, or when I'm not tired. Am on meds but of course, the meds only manage symptoms so far.

It annoys me that we live our lives in retrospect - we know we had a good period only when hit by a really bad one.

My joints ache all the time, I rely on paracetamol and pregabalin to help as I can't take any anti-inflamatories due to taking 3 blood pressure tablets. My rhemy said he could inject my shoulders if they get worse. I am chronically tired so thought I would follow a gluten free, dairy free and (as much as is possible) sugar free diet. I have more energy now but still hurt. huffingtonpost.com/dr-mark-...

This was the reason I started my new eating programme - Just a thought xx

I know it's not possible for everyone but I hurt less when I exercise. It also lifts the spirits and boosts energy levels. I'm not talking about heavy, intense exercise but even something like a half hour walk can make all the difference.

I've been wondering about that myself. The rheumy nurse said I was in another flare so I asked when the last one had ended? I always feel ill. Then I wondered what do you call the stage between flares? It can't be remission when you still feel awful can it?

Hi,how long on the hydroxy? It took at least 7 months to kick in for me.My hands, fingers was brutal...and red and inflamed always! Now when the hydroxy kicked in,less hand ,finger joint pain, and redness and itchness .Took a long time! How's your sleep?Mine, can't sleep more than 5-6 hours. As you know, sleep is so important!. Do you have any other immune disease ?I have Fibro, diagnosed. Everyday is a struggle as you know!I hope some day we will all feel better.I know there's research, and this disease is complicated, but hoping for some relief soon!

My mouth sores come and go.Don't know why I have them, then they go away, and are back before I know it.You are not alone as you see!!Take care and hang in...all we can do.Plus eat well..I avoid dairy ,gluten, sugar and processed foods.I know...hard to do.One thing I know is this disease is dif in everyone... so the foods that bother me,milk, gluten may not bother you.I know your and everyone elses pain.Feel better.
