Betty - I live in the US. What is "A&E??
A&E is Accident and Emergency dept at a hospital, think you might call it ER
Please go get pain relief from a and e. At least they have strong stuff that should work. Thinking of you.
Please go and get help, you should not suffer in this way.i wonder if you are on a higher enough dose of Steroids.try and keep positive.prolonged, severe pain is so debilitating.
As everyone says get to A&E what are you waiting for? If u don't want to do that, phone 111 nhs line they will assess your symptoms and can call ambulance/ paramedics if needed. Thoughts r with u, make that call x
i agree with everyone go to A&E or NHS help line you need pain relief please don't suffer you know it make sense. GO!GO!.
If u cant get urself to a&e call an ambulance. You need help. I will pray 4 u.
I haven't found doctors that helpful because any drugs I take gives me more pain and more problems.
You could try asking 'God' to tell you why you have the pain because there is usually a reason for pain - the body trying to tell us something; even when healing we can have pain. I had a tooth extracted 6 weeks ago and thought I was going to die with the pain, but now it has all healed and not hurting. I took no pain killers because I knew they would affect my gut and joints, etc.
Listen to what comes through. This has helped me so much over the past 15 years, but it takes time and patience and trust in your own body and abilities to heal.
Razoo - I can relate as I get Lupus migraines very often and don't know what to do. I pop Tramadol all day as that's all I can take. On Coumadin, there are few meds that don't interact. The codeine meds cause constipation, which causes more pain in your tummy. Have you asked your doc about Tramadol???? It's not ibuprofen and doesn't cause stomach issues.
I know where you are coming from I been in lots of where I can not get out of bed or walk so phone the doctors and got in she used my meds still in pain but not as much so good luck you need to do some think about it it's no god not doing nothink I did that at fist but go to ANE good luck x
i have been there hang on hold tight it will pass i didnt have a diagnosis then remember the good days just remember you are not alone we are with you and understand
Sending you all of my love xxx
Please get to hospital atlease you get pain med via IV for fast relief. Praying for you.
I'm sending you all my love, I hope you have done something to help yourself. Sorry I suffer terribly, from pain in my legs, that never goes away, and without the medication, which I am so grateful for, that took a some time till they were the right ones. Good luck, hope you get looked after and sorted out.
Kay
Hi Razoo,
Please let us know how you are now? If you haven't already, then I would advise you to please go and see your GP or check yourself into A&E as many other members suggested.
Things can get better than this! If you are very down and depressed then I would recommend that you seek additional support for this. Your GP may be able to prescribe some anti-depressants and could also refer you for counselling or psychotherapy which many people who are diagnosed with a chronic condition find very helpful.
If you need further information or to talk about your lupus then please feel free to contact us here at LUPUS UK, Mon-Fri, 9-5 on 01708 731251. If you want somebody to talk to at any time then you can always call Samaritans on 08457 90 90 90.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to be of assistance.
Thank you very much Paul.❤️
