I was really nervous at first. Before lupus I wouldn't even take pain killers . Now I'm the girl that drops my drawers as quick as I can to get this!! I have no side effects just relief . The oral tablets can cause unwanted side effects but not injections so much. Hope it works a treat for you. None of us want to take these horrid meds but sometimes we have to. Getting the balance right will take a little time for you to work out ,we are all different. Good luck x

I had never experienced anxiety before this last year when I've been in a pretty bad flare. I had not realised that it takes hold of you, has no reason or there's no releif from it. Hope you feel better soon :)

I had one of those injection really impressed with how it worked. Took a couple of weeks to feel the full benefit. When it wears off you realize how good it was. I'm hoping for another one next week when I see my rhemy. I didn't see any side effects from it only positive effects xx

Definetly, the side effects are minimal compared to the tablets, do you feel very anxious generally, this can be a lupus symptom

I had one of these a few months ago, and it did NOTHING! Absolutely not a thing. The Rheumy says that sometimes they just don't work for some people. So I didn't get any side effects - I didn't get any effects at all. Hope they work for you!

I too recently had my first injection. I have some tingling sensations at the back of my thigh and in my toes but rhuemy said that should soon subside. The pain in my thigh is much better already....I hope it lasts! I'm looking forward to bring able to do the mundane again, like climbing the stairs pain free. Hope this helps x
