Hi my son was diagnosed last June 9 with itp with platelet count of 4. had two bottles of ivig and platelet count was still at 4. had another two bottles of ivig and platelet count went up to 7 and the doctor discharged him. cbc were done june 15 and june 21 and platelet count still at 4. has no major bleeding thank God. should i use the wait and see approach?

N if its al ready 3 4 stool then u must visit dr asap n what medicine he is taking at the moment
it's his first time today to have black stool since he was diagnosed last June 9. he is not taking any medicines. we are on the stage of waiting to see if his platelet will go up without any medicine.
