ANOTHER RARE DISEASE DAY

Another Rare Disease Day

Behind us once again

Proof once more if needed

The sword is weaker than the pen

A truly inspiring Anthology

Some remarkable tales of Rare

Reassuring to know that

So many people really care

The talent in our community

Is amazing to behold

So many stirring stories

Which would otherwise remain untold

Equity is all we ask

It’s surely only right

Living with our conditions

Is more than enough to fight

So give us the opportunity

To show what we can do

There’s plenty of expertise

In so many not just a few

We need quicker diagnosis

The best care and treatments to be had

And we want this to be the norm

Not just a passing fad

So more than you can imagine

Our experiences completely laid bare

Perhaps this gives you some idea

Of living life in the rare.
