Patroleum Jelly as a protective barrier for the clitoris and inner lips (away from vagina opening) while healing from an abrasion/cut/burn?
I have been using
hydromol
emollient to protect the clitoral area and just below between the inner lips, as everytime I wee the pain is really bad. However the
hydromol
hardens like small fragments of a bar soap and I’m trying to only bath the area once a day.

Eczema.
The GP has prescribed me with some steroid cream and I also use
Hydromol
emollient. However, neither of these products seem to be helping and I have today noticed a couple of new areas of eczema appearing. Is there a link between an under active thyroid and eczema do we think?

You know the situation: it’s five in the morning and there’s no chance of sleep. I can’t be the only person who ends up writing for help because there is nothing else to do while waiting for the dawn. The story so far: initially, like many of you I took Pramipexole, which allowed me to sleep, although

Buscopan
Does anyone find Buscopan helpful? I've tried it, but only for a few days, so not sure if I should wait a little longer? My gp has also prescribed Co-dydramol, which works so much better than Co-codamol and Morphine. It does make me really constipated (I am anyway!) though. They all come with side effects

Sciatica hell
Hi. I have been diagnosed (over phone!) either sciatica. It crept upon me over a few days, no obvious cause, I've now had it 2 weeks. Its so very painful - a gnawing deep ache across right buttock down back of leg into calf. Can't get comfortable anywhere and difficulty walking without holding on

Wow!! we have made it to Friday, and I think the drugs are doing their think, thank goodness, still some discomfort and now I don't have to roll onto my stomach in the morning and shuffle out of bed, though seems to be more painful in the mornings and before I go to bed, I have cut down on the Co-Dydramol

Gallbladder removed 5 days ago
Hi all, after many years of pain and fear caused by gallstones, I finally had my gallbladder removed via keyhole surgery over the weekend. It all came to a head in January just gone where I had a severe blockage that caused jaundice, reduced liver function and pancreatitis. This bumped me up the list

Gabapentin/Pregabalin - Who is actually finding this helps their RLS?
There has been a lot of advice on this Forum about A2B Ligands being first line of treatment (?) and I was thinking there must be a lot of people out there who were advised to come off DA's (slowly) and go onto these Ligands. Then I am reading a lot of posts of people whereby these Ligands stop working

RLS TREATMENT: Every day I read questions and answers on this forum and I would like to share with you some of my concerns
about the replies given to the many RLS sufferers who are struggling with their medication. All medications, if you read the leaflets, have side-effects and complications and at the end of the day, we have to weigh up which ones are going to be effective for each of us individually. 1.Dopamine Agonists
