Good morning

Well, still in hosp but the end is in sight, hoping to

be home on Friday.

The pneumonia I had has just about cleared up after

what seems a bucket load of antibiotics, it’s been a hard road to travel.

All this has really messed up my INR it’s bouncing about like a ball at a party. It reached a peak at 10.4 which I thought was impressive, currently its 1.7 which is far too low.

However, I’m due to have a broncoscopy tomorrow and INR needs to under two. As soon as it’s done

will be on Fragmin and warfarin til it’s gets back to where it should be, however long that may take.

After over three weeks in hosp I will be very glad to get home and fuss my kitties, tho I do face time them

I know mad mad cat lady. My son thinks I’m totally crazy, he may have a point!

Love and hugs to all

J

So happy to hear from you, although i must say I am very sorry ( sad) and a little surprised you are writing still from your hospital bed.

I had wondered the other day how you were, and imagined you were slowly recovering at home... ( it can really take a while after pneumonia.)

I’m sure both the illness and the antibiotics have really done a number on the INR. This is to be expected.

Likely you have other new medications during this illness you are also taking now which are affecting the INR as well.

I know you will be very happy to be well enough to go home- to be in your own familiar routine again.

The kitties will be delightful!

Pneumonia will have left you very weak.Takes to to get over this even without your APS. Hope you are soon back in range but may take a while .hope broncoscopy goes well.sounds painful..hopefully not.

Lots of hugs to come from kitties

Good Luck with the broncoscopy and hope you are home and resting well on Friday. What INR range does your DR want you to be at?

Well procedure all done sleepy but ok

Now have to get INR back where it should be my range is 3-4.5

Will soon be relaxing at home with kitties, not expecting to feel brilliant straight away, it’s the 5th time I’ve had pneumonia in the past year, so will be taking my time and not worrying too much if the house work isn’t done every day!!!

Love and hugs

I hope you get better really soon, your INR will settle down again once your system has settled down after your antibiotics, this can take time, hopefully not too long!!! MaryF
