Hosp pt 4

Hi Everyone

Well, after a month in hosp finally home with my kitties, who apart from one have had the right sulks!

They will come round eventually prob when they want food. I have the sulks with my 23 year old son

thought I’d walked into a squat, lazy what not.

Anyways at least I came home with a diagnosis,

Pulmonary Fibrosis, some bug, whose name I’ve forgotten, deep in the lung that’s likely to be antibiotic resistant and a knackered heart. Outlook does not look promising, but do intend to make the most of it. Places to go, people to see, adventures to have.

Naturally this has had an effect on my INR which has never been stable so will have to make the best of that and not stress over it too much. Thankfully the warfarin nurses are very good and have an understanding of my erratic INR and now don’t panic if it’s really out of range.

One of the good things that has come out of this, I’ve

lost a load weight some two stone!

Love and hugs to all

J

Welcome home! What a selection of problems you’ve brought with you too! I’ve just been told I’ve got interstitial lung disease, which is an umbrella term for various diseases in lungs and I believe yours is one of them! We have such joys eh! My heart is already knackered too lol. I had a valve replacement 4 years ago and the other one is now going. But as you say, hey ho, we carry on. Do take care and know we are all just a message away. xx

Cats are funny little creatures. They meow like mad when you not there then give you the cold shoulder on return.

I hope you do many fine things, places to go, places to see, is always a good start. All my children at one time or another went down with very prolonged Mycoplasma Pneumonia, and it can sometimes get missed. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/402... I hope your INR calms down and that you feel better soon. MaryF

Thanks to everyone for their good wishes. Apart from feeling absolutely tired out feeling ok. Kitties have forgiven me and woke to find 4/5 on my bed this morning.

I did learn this morning that even tho the pneumonia has been treated and there’s little sign of it, the ‘bug’ itself will hang around for 6 months and anything will trigger it especially if you have auto immune issues.

Love and hugs
