Well what a weird couple of weeks I’ve been having, there is a week that i have no recall about whatsoever. As my lad would say that’s a week your not going to get back!

I’m still in hosp but aiming to get home mon or Tuesday, awaiting some test results then I’m out of here, I need to see my kitties.

I’m sure the nurses think I’m more than a little crazy when I FaceTime them all. Pinky and Perkys reaction is too funny they can’t quite work out what’s going on, especially perky who has special needs.

Medically a lot has happened, had a rheumatologist review as the docs think the lung problems are auto immune induced which in a way makes sense.

My inr refused to go above 1.9 for a week, docs fault that one, unbeknown to me had taken some VitK when my INR was only 10.6 did have a dig at them should have known better. That’s gradually getting better and should be ok

I do get very very tired and Once home have been advised to rest a lot, my diet had been appalling so need some good food in me.

So all looks very positive, did have a few wobbly days my family live a long way away and wouldn’t want them up here anyways. Mother at 86 is getting to frail to travel on her own now.

And finally thank you one and all for the messages of support I’ve received, and reading my waffly posts it means a lot to me to know there’s people out there who care.

I will try to get a piccy up of pinky and Perky, also known as my boys.

Love and hugs

J

Hi Jude,

Sorry to hear you are still in hospital. That Rheumatologist who believes you have autoimmun issues with your lungs have you told him you have too sticky blood (APS) that has to be thinned at a special INR and if too low you should have something like a Fragminshot to help avoid clots and embolies.

Who is responsible for your anticoagulation and is there a Specialist who is knowledable of autoimmun illnesses? I think I remember you did have a therapeutic INR between 3.0 and 4.5. Is that correct? Have they done an echocardiography on the lungs and heart?

Hope you will soon see your fantastic cats!

The doc I saw was quite switched on and was aware of my INR range and the need for Fragmin, it was good to educate the nursing staff as well.

Due to have an echo on Monday, repeat ct scan and an X-ray

Love and hugs

So glad you've turned the corner and hoping to get home, I'm sure you will be told off by your pussy's, but worth it to be home.

Your sense of humour through the last few weeks has really been apparent, something for the rest of us to admire and aspire to.

Keep getting better xx

Thank you for all your good wishes it means a lot to me and yes will look forward to cat cuddles from, Queenie, poppy and dingo as well as the naughty boys!

Holly my sense of humour has kept me going even on some very dark days. I did have a weep this morning watching the remembrance parade, I come from a military family and thought how lucky am I to have them all.

I will keep calm and carry one and perhaps treat myself to a little gin!
