An update for you all

I’m still in hosp, and struggling to get on top of

pneumonia, docs are about to start the 4th different

antibiotic (2ndIV) and remain on oxygen. Potassium levels are low just to make life interesting I also had some sort of fit. Life is getting difficult and I miss my kitties!

All these antibiotics have screwed my INR it was creeping up and finally ended at 8.5 tho I have to say

consultant was very good when his junior suggested Vit K, my INR is not high enough for Vit K in my case and would take too long to come up again.

Will let you all know how the antibiotics work, or not as the case may be😺

Love and hugs

J

Thoughts are with you!

Kudos to your consultant. You are in good hands.

Rest up, heal up, and hopefully you have a tablet with you in the hospital you can watch a movie or series on with headphones when you are feeling well enough now and again?

Pinky and Perky are up to all kinds with you away! 😺🙀 I wonder what they are up to now? Who’s looking after them?

My son is looking after them apparently Perky keeps meowing and looking around the house lets hope I’m home soon so he can have his cuddles. Pinky is a little stupid to do that.

I never go anywhere without my phone and tablet😛

Thank you

J

Ah well already done that everyone in the ward thought I was totally mad, they may have a point. It was when I’m saying Pinky, Perky come and have some cuddles.

Mad cat lady I am!

I had to take my kitty to the vet today- she’s 14 years and 11 months old. She’s doing very well. She’s a calico. She is our daughter kitty.

She and her fiancée are looking to get a kitten. They have been fostering kittens. It’s a program the state of New Jersey has. ( this way they can learn all about them.)

They want two siblings.

They have decided when they do get kittens to get Burmese cats- they don’t cause allergic reactions.

Wonderful idea, Fra!

Oh my goodness! This is such a great application of this forum! We can “group chat” in situations like this. True support just when it’s needed .

Not for you, Judes...mind you, it’s for Pinky and Perky! 😂😂😂😂

( they need the support while you are away from home!)

Here Kitty kitty kitty, Kelly and Fra love you very much! Good little kitties!

Oh gosh. Jude is never going to speak to us again, is she Fra?

Thinking of you and wishing you a speedy recovery!

Another chat with Pinky and Perky may be needed! Our fur babies do so much to keep us happy.

I never thought when I started this thread it would go in the direction it has! I will always speak to people. It’s so good to come across a community that truly cares

and yes Pinky and perky will remain at the top of the no
