Hi all this is a poem my wife wrote to say thank you to our heroes keeping us safe in these difficult times, please pass it on KEEP SAFE ALL

OUR HERO`S

HOW CAN THIS BE HAPPENING

HOW CAN THIS BE TRUE

A VIRUS THAT IS OUT THERE

IS HARMING ME AND YOU

DOCTOR`S NURSES AND FRONTLINE STAFF

SO BRAVE THEY ARE, IT BREAKS ONE`S HEART

FACING CHALLENGES IN OUR HOUR OF NEED

TRUE HERO`S THEY ARE INDEED

SOLDIERS FIREFIGHTER`S POLICEMEN AND WOMEN TOO

ALL OF THEM PROTECTING , ME AND YOU

NO SELFISHNESS TO BE SEEN

THEY WORK TOGETHER AS A TEAM

TRYING HARD TO KEEP US SAFE

TRUE ANGELS WHO DESERVE OUR GRACE

NEW RULES, WE MUST NOW ALL FACE

ABIDE BY THEM OR BE DISGRACED

WHERE WOULD WE BE WITHOUT THEM

GOD ONLY KNOWS ,THESE ANGELS AMONGST US

THAT SAVE OUR MORTAL SOULS

WE KNOW THEM WITH THEIR GENTLE TOUCH

AND KINDNESS IN THEIR EYES

BUT THEY REALLY ARE GODS ANGELS

WHAT WE SEE IS A DISGUISE

YOU CANNOT SEE HALO`S , OR EVEN THEIR WINGS

THEY DRESS LIKE ME AND YOU

BUT DO THE SWEETEST THINGS

SO CLAP AND SING

MAKE A LOUD DIN

EVEN FIND A BELL TO RING

NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES

JUST SHOW APPRECIATION

FOR GOODNESS SAKE

Well written and angels indeed they are.

The make a noise and a din or clapping of hands would be better replaced with extra money in their wage packets.

Many are working very long hours, all the government has given them is a voucher to get a meal ! All our front line workers and carer's deserve so much more and each and every one of them should be in our prayers.

Maybe that dear wife of yours could write a prayer or similar that could be published in remembrance of these difficult times and the lives lost.

Our community here in our town of Monroe Twp. New Jersey, USA, population of about 40,000 had a SHOUTOUT last Wednesday from 4:00 to 4:15 throughout the town...come out, stay 6 feet apart, blow your horns, cheer, etc. and a siren was sounded tbrough the town to show your support, not only for drs. Nutses, etc but for grocery ckerks, delivery leople, mail carriets and so on. They are all the brave heroes.
