Hi, does anyone suffer with a feeling that your blood flows backwards at night or when lying down? I wake nightly in pools of sweat, with my organs throbbing and can’t breathe until I sit up. It’s getting really frightening but doctors won’t take me seriously. Thanks

APS Blood flowing backwards?

Hi there, this condition causes all sorts of odd and strange issues as does their meds, buy an oximeter and blood pressure testing machine they are relatively cheap Lidl/Aldi has them from time to time or source else where and include a thermometer. Keep diary if readings are not in the right zone you know there some thing wrong this should be your start point and include exact symptoms. Everything and hopefully you should find something maybe ask your GP to request holster monitor to see if there's a blip over a couple of days above all trust your instincts. Take care
in my 40s, during perimenopause, I had very similar experiences which were hot flash induced panic attacks. Once I lowered my cholesterol and combined yoga and EMDR therapy they have stopped for years. I have not had a hot flash since and my anxiety is lower all the time now.
I had this too. I can't be 100% certain, but I think that a daily teaspoon of cod liver oil and increasing my omega 3 in general fixed it for me - I don't go a day without eating a few walnuts. If you have no nut allergies, they are highly beneficial for general gut and heart health, and also low in vitamin K.
