Micro clits or not ???

I hope you all had a lovely Christmas 🎄 and were as well as you can be.

On the 23rd my blood suddenly dropped to 2.8 when it’s been stable at 4.2 for a few weeks. [my range is 4-4.5] but I’m a very unstable Lupus anticoagulant + APS patient with Lupus, Sjogrens, Fibromyalgia, 4 prolapsed discs and a rare, electrical heart condition - Long QT Syndrome

Anyway back to it... I took clexane twice daily as instructed From Monday evenin. Last nights injection site kept bleeding 🩸so this morning I went to the hospital and they dressed it for me. I then had a vein blood test as they think my INR must be too thin now!

Christmas evening I started getting sharp pains in and across my head. It’s happening again now! I’m wondering if it’s micro clots but don’t understand them. Any info or In-site into micro clots would be good please xx

IMHO, I think you need to contact your specialist as soon as possible.

With good wishes,

Hi, I sometimes get a bleed from an injection site, sometimes it can go on for hours, it doesn't always mean your blood us too thin?!

Did they tell you what your INR was at the hospital? The clexane doesn't affect your INR, so if still low you need to continue until it is back up in range.

If in range and you are still getting pains in your head, you must seek medical referral, preferable your specialists team.

Hope you feel better soon x

I’ve developed bruises on my legs they are very tender some with pea sized lumps in them. I’ve not bumped myself or anything and my stomach looks like something from a horror movie. X

I wonder which Specialist has diagnosed you for all your autoimmun illnesses? Is it the same Specialist who gave you Warfarin also.

As Holly Heski says INR is about Warfarin. (?)
