My wife was told she had Hughes syndrome back in 2006 but it seemed have, not caused any issues for a long time, but she has just started coming out with bruising on her stomach and sometimes around the eye.
Is this something others have experienced, doctors haven’t really given us any answers, just waiting for blood results to come back at the moment.
Hughes Syndrome/APS does not just go away. Its great that it seems she has been quite well since 2006 but she really should have been under somebody and been monitored since then and not just wait to fire fight issues like now when they start to show up. I hope the tests are ok and she has no problems.
On warfin just over a year, in the last year my veins are darker move visible. The other things are I have broken out in sores randomly and bruises come and go randomly without being hit,I have suffered vascular necrosis needing double hip replacement I do have aps, but last year and a half before starting warfin I had a dexa scan and and was told was excellent results and tested by rheumatologist no immune probs, warfin doesn't really agree with me and yes I have aps but I really wonder is it just the disease or is there side effects that warfin may be in involved . Just me 2 pence ,😉
