Numbness and pain in foot and numbness up partial leg.

I had total knee revision and the day after I noticed I was numb in most of my foot and soon after started having severe neuropathy pain in my arch of my foot. I also had blood clott behind my knee and in my lungs and was put on Warafin. It has been 6 months and the pain is better since upping my Gabapentin and Cymbalta, but the numbness has began to come halfway up my leg. I was told by my neurologist that it was because the hit a nerve when they gave me the pain shot. My knee Dr said he thought it was because of my back problems and has referred me to a Neuro Surgeon. I have severe degenerative disk in my neck and back. When I asked him why it didn't start till after my surgery, and he said he thought maybe I laid in a certain position too long and that's why it pinched a nerve in my back. I can't get into the Nero surgeon for a couple more months and I don't know if that's the real cause. So I was wondering if there was anyone else out there that has had my issues. Thank you.
