Hi everyone, it's been quite a while since I last posted. I had a baby just over two years ago after several losses, late and early. That's when I was diagnosed. We have decided to try to add to our family and I'm now pregnant again - only 6 weeks. I took aspirin when trying to conceive as I can only fall pregnant when my blood is being thinned. I'm not on blood thinners normally as thus far I've had no other significant symptoms of this condition. I was then prescribed heparin injections after my positive pregnancy test at 4 weeks. I've decided against an early scan this time and will wait to see if I get to 12 weeks. I figured there's nothing more that can be done so either the baby will be ok at 12 weeks or not. I'm on the right regime. I don't feel anywhere near as anxious as I did before as I know the thinners do work. I just thought I'd share my journey again if that's ok as I have had various messages from women after having my daughter saying the info was helpful and gave hope and strength not to give up.
Here's hoping for a good outcome!

You have written for several years here about what has happened to you during pregnances or waiting for pregnances and the joy when a baby is born.
I had had my children when I got APS but i have followed you here and I can only imagine how much it has meant to other APS-women learning from your many updates.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you Catherine. It is something that has crossed my mind in the past few months about having another child but I don't know if I would be able to cope with the stress again so I look forward to hearing about your journey xx
