Sore skin behind 1 ear

For past 2 weeks iv had sore skin behind left ear, its a bit weepy and crusty sometimes, iv tried putting oilatum cream on it. I am very clean and always shower every day and dry there too, cant understand where its come from.

Hi, no I don't, sorry I thought this was a general medical forum question answer thing. I didn't realise till I'd posted sorry.

That is ok, it is however yes this forum is just for Hughes Syndrome/Lupus, however go to the GP as it probably has an infection in it, you need to watch out for things like Impetigo etc which can spread, it will probably not clear up on it's own. best of luck. MaryF

I have the same problem and it comes and goes. I also have it under my eyes and a little bit around my mouth. Any skin cream seems to help if used regularly, but when it's worse, I use a hydrocortisone cream. It goes away in a few days then.

Hi, just to let anyone know who's interested, the GP gave me an appoint for 3 weeks time! I wasnt prepared to wait, So I just bought some hydrocortisone cream from the pharmacy and its worked a treat, almost all gone now. Thanks for the replies
