Surgery update..

Good morning everyone,

I am back home from surgery last week. They removed the mass's that were attached to my ovary.

They took the mass's in one complete piece in case there was cancer inside of the ovary, they did exploratory internally after the removal and there was nothing negative to report. Praise God! I am so happy to be home and in recovery. The mass's were attached to my bowel and pelvic wall, it was a "non typical" removal and twice as long of a surgery. During recovery I didn't want to wake up it seems they had difficulty pulling me out of the anesthetic. We are to go back in two weeks to see the final results, it is more then likely related to Endometri and blood clot related. All in all it was a success and I am home with my family and doggies resting.

The heparin shots should be completed today, I am back on Warfarin now also.

I check into the clinic today for INR check.

I am looking forward to a self tester, as I am going deeper within my diet to further build an even healthier diet related to organics and vegetarian. Specialists at OHSU in Portland were wonderful supports and thorough, they had compassionate bed side manners. All and all the experience was positive and I am hoping that the care there for the APLS will also continue to be a positive.

They had difficulty pulling blood after the surgery, my blood was to thick. I look like a purple armed person right now along with my belly bruises.

I am happy to see my blood thinning now and look forward to the INR check today.

Back to resting, just checking in with all of you as I know you are praying for me and supporting me with your thoughts and encouragement from afar.

Menopause here I come :)

Humble thanks and appreciation

Becca

Well done you, please get better soon, and many of us find being gluten free greatly improves things, as it is possible to have non coeliac gluten intolerance which does not show up! MaryF

Thank you for the gluten free information, important, actually critical to eat specifically. Will add this in even more

I just returned home from the INR check, it was 1.4 level. Will be taking the shots until the end of the week in hopes that it jumps back into the 3 range.

Have a fabulous day today

Hello Kerstin

They have not issued me one yet, when my blood test went down to a 6.5 for the Hughes, they held off issuing me one until I was retested, that will be next month.

Seeing my blood be so thick, too thick to pull effectively, I am convinced I need the blood thinners.

Will hope they issue me one soon
