Hi! sarahlou1801,

I'm was diagnosed with APS after my second miscarriage, in 2009. I've had four miscarriages already, the most recent was in December last year. I've been trying to conceive this year and like you, now I find it difficult. I've told my GP and he recommend some blood test seven days before my period comes.

There could be many reasons why we are unable to conceive, probably the stress and anxiety of wanted to get pregnant and not be able, age... I don't know.

Perhaps, someone here could gives us a reason.

Hi sarahlou,

I wouldn't have thought it was down to the baby asprin? more likely stress & worry of what you have been through & the worry of what if?

Talk to your gp about it to set your mind at ease & I'm sure it'll be ok, keep positive & healthy, Sue x

I have been diagnosed with aps after multiple miscarriages. I see a RE (fertility specialist) and a hemotologist frequently. My current plan is to to take daily herparin shots a few days after ovulation, and once i have a positive pregnancy test, i will start taking a baby aspirin daily. Both doctors that i see say that taking the aspirin any earlier may interfere with conception, as aspirin redues inflammation and inflammation is part of conception. You may want to discuss this with your doctor.

My plan was the oppossite I have to take baby aspirin everyday and heparin jabs after a positive pregnancy test. Perhaps I should discuss not taking aspirin till I fall pregnant then thanks for your reply
