hi, I’m lactose intolerant but nothing affected by it much. Have my own milk because that’s one item of food I have a lot. But an ice cream is what I’d like to hear from others about. Does anyone who is lacrosse intolerant have alittle too much sometimes and what side effects? Because I’ve I’ve had an ice cream 2 days in a row 🙈

Hi Junny

My lactose intolerance seems to be getting worse the older I get. Even the milk powder in bread affects my breathing so when I stay in an hotel, I take my own. About ice cream; there are some good vegan varieties to be bought. They are rather more expensive, but delicious.

Good morning,

I could never tolerate dairy of any kind. There are lactose free products available and there are some great vegan icecream- my favourite being the almond or salted caramel Magnums, they are really excellent.

Hope you feel better soon

Just don't drink milk or eat any dairy. Plenty of Vegan alternatives which are very nice. Oatly barista is great frothed on coffee. Loads of Vegan ice cream recipe online. Simplest is frozen bananas. Slice, freeze, blend. Add cocoa, berries, nut butter etc. Lovely.

I take lactase enzymes before I eat anything like ice cream, it stops it affecting me. Vegan ice creams are pretty decent these days too, just expensive and have fewer flavours.
