Tonight, we had tuna, sharp cheddar cheese, gluten free white bread and ice cream for dinner. The meal was 54 carbs. when you add in the ice cream. It was really delicious and perfect for the cold temperatures today.

What did you have for dinner tonight?

What you can do is, get two pieces of bread, tuna, cheese and put everything in the microwave for cooking for 30-40 seconds to melt the cheese on top of the tuna and bread. Really great! 😀👍🧀🍣🍞

Thank you for saying that about the tuna melt, horseygirl_0103 . It was really delicious. It’s been a while since I had a tuna open faced melt for a meal.😀👍🍣

54 g or kcal of carbs? The brain and central nervous system require about 130g per day, with activity necessitating not much more since the longer we can perform an activity the more it can be fuelled by fat. Long, intense activities result in over-training.

Love tuna melts. Haven't found a gluten free bread I like or that doesn't cost $5.00. So, I resort to Sara Lee's 45 calorie a slice bread. Not GF but at least low in calories. Bread is smaller than the average size.
