Tonight I thought I would try a twist on marinade..
I chose one of my favorite ales and used it to marinade a couple of pork loin filets .They were soaked in 1/4 cup ( each) of white ale for 10 hours .
I figured that between the alcohol and the carbonation the meat would be more moist well as tender. Additionally I rubbed them with a mesquite and pepper rub.. Baked at25 minutes at 350° F.
I'm happy to say they came very tender and moist..This is going to be a repeat recipe.
Your meal looks wholesome and delicious Lazuruslong and yeah certainly a meal to be enjoyed again and again, sweetcorn is to be eaten with any meal imo I love it, 😋
I’m happy that your experiment turned out so well, L. The pic says it all. Do you think that the quality of the ale made a difference in the outcome? I have a friend that uses ginger ale or seven up to tenderize meat. Hate to waste a good ale. 😉
