Lovely Pork Chop

Dear All,

I haven't 'Posted', on here, for a while- everywhere else😏 but not Here.

The Staff, where I live do the Shopping, for us, on Wednesdays- since I am in Total Lockdown. Today 'they' sent Cliff which, initially at least, I wasn't too Happy about. That was until I unpacked the shopping and 'found' the Pork Chops he had Bought, they were Beautiful😁. Three, good Thick Cut Chops, although one Didn't have any Rind- I gently grilled, that one tonight. Cliff also bought me some nice (yes 'nice') potatoes, far better than Last weeks (bought by someone else). So I had pork chop, mashed potatoes and Brussel Sprouts (also bought by Cliff). I even made Gravy, from granules- with boiling water, poured through BOTH the Meat and Veg. I 'washed' this down with apple juice, rather than beer, mainly because I 'fancied' it. This was, then all, 'rounded off' with a fruit yoghurt and coffee.....Very pleasant indeed🤗.

Again a 'simple' meal, that was, very enjoyable. Even though I shouldn't, I gave Myself, Eight out of Ten😎.

8 is a modest score, I reckon it scores a 10. Delicious meal , very enjoyable. Cliff sounds a gem, a careful, thoughtful shopper. hopefully he'll shop for you again.

I have spoken to Cliff, this morning, telling him about my meal. Cliff was 'pleased' that I Liked, his choices, but admitted that he had asked, the Shop Assistants, about a lot of it! No matter, whoever chose them, did a good job😋. Incidentally no matter, how Good, your own cooking is..... You NEVER give yourself '10 out of 10', it isn't Polite. (at least that is what I was taught).
