I have been putting on weight since I was a teenager I am now 36 years old, about 5 - 8 years ago I got told that I have this condition called Trimethylaminuira well known as fish odour syndrome, its blood that isn't circuating the liver and can cause bad smells and also can cause by putting weight on plus bad fishy smells of sweat, I have advoid certain foods such as green veg, red meat, fruit with peels on, sea food apart from river fish, chicken and pork, carrots, the NHS has recently updated the page for this condition, stress, sweating, certain foods, periods can cause the fish odour even worse by smells of the breath and over lapping of the skin, cows milk, seafood and shellfish apart from fresh water fish, eggs, beans, peanuts and liver and kidney and supplements containing lecithin are now the ones to advoid. This can cause weight to gain.

Good evening Rickymartingirl1984, welcome to the forum.

I can not comment on your condition as its not one I suffer with, but if the liver is a problem, maybe looking into a detox may help? They can be great if your liver is struggling.

I am sure others will have more advice for you

Take care
