So, just wanted to announce that I am starting intermittent fasting again and incorporating the low carb, low sugar eating at the same time. So, I last ate at 6:30pm last night, finished by 7pm, so I won't eat again until after 11am today. I will do my best to try to extend the time of my fast to more than 16 hours each time. In the past I had a lot of success doing this, by success I mean that I was able to fast for over 24 hours at a time and I always felt so amazing, as if my body was healing, and I just felt so good. Now, when I go off my fasting time, I will be eating foods that are better for me than before being diagnosed with pre-diabetes. I'm really looking forward to eating better every day. As my days go forward I do want to incorporate more raw foods, more vegetables, and learn some 'raw' food recipes. If anyone here has had good experience with a raw food diet and wants to share recipes with me, please do. I'm working towards a much healthier me, and all of you do make a difference, believe me! I really appreciate each of you and your feedback and suggestions. Bare with me, I'm a work in progress. Haha. ♡ Thanks!

Hi Rhonda, I think that its great doing this as it reminds you of your goals and I wish you well. Fortunately you will better for your efforts so its win win as you've started your journey and its all healthy and in your control.
As for raw foods I eat lots of salads and there are so many choices and combinations and here's link about a raw diet with recipes:
I look forward to seeing your recipes and hearing about your experiences - I also enjoy some salads that have raw ingredients in them - and I've just bought some 'dark tahini' to make a hopefully delicious dressing - I'm looking forward to trying it.
