Home made gluten free lentil and chilli vegan burgers for tea tonight...🌢

β€’11 Replies

Hi everyone,

Here's some burgers I made earlier and am going to cook later. I cooked some red lentils with some red quinoa and added that to white onions cooked in olive oil to soften with hot chilli sweet yellow peppers and ground ginger and black pepper. I used ground linseeds and chia seeds to bind it, left it and shaped it.

To me this is real free from food as it’s gluten free, plant based and packed with nutrients...and I'm going to eat them...😊

They are lovely!πŸ˜€πŸ‘ It’s a great idea for using quinoa.πŸ˜€

Quinoa is very healthy and I'd rinse it first as quinoa contains saponins, so to make sure thats gone washing for 2 mins does the trick and if the water is clear straight away then you know that its pre-washed.

So enjoy your quinoa happycook1, 😊

Thanks Leah, I add ground quinoa to many baked goodies too. 😊
