Here's a loaf of tea bread that I made today, it's fat free and you don't use much sugar
Recipe:
250g Gluten Free self raising flour
55g Ground almonds
350g dried fruit sultanas and raisins
275ml boiling water with a Yorkshire tea tea bag
55g Dark brown sugar
2 med free range eggs.
1/2 tea spoon mixed spice
First make the tea in a pyrex jug and then add the fruit and soak over night or at least 2 hours then mix all ingredients and bake at 170C for approx 40/45 mins until cooked through.
I'm having some later with a nice cup of tea. πβοΈπ
