What to do about Diverticulosis
Hi Nicholas, a great place to start with any kind of gut repair is 1) probiotics - a great way to do this is a course of kefir. Chuckling Goat is a lovely company that you an order online from 2) begin taking Aloe Vera juice. I use Lilly of the Dessert as you can get an organic, additive free. Take one to two tablespoons daily. Of course you will also get great benefit from looking at eating food in its purest form so cutting out processed food as well as concentrated fruit juices, soda drinks. I don't want to overwhelm you so just start somewhere that feels right for you and trust you will be guided to make choices to help in your healing process.
Try adding kefir to your diet. It's easy to make from a starter culture & grows quickly if it's fed & tended correctly. Much cheaper than buying it ready made. I bought 10g of live kefir grains for £10, which is initially enough for a glass or two a day, then more as it grows rapidly. I use organic gold top milk most days, or organic unhomogised whole milk, & now have 200g of tribble grains.
