If you check out the BMI calculator it will tell you a range that you need to have each day to loose weight based on your weight and height (bmi)
I did mine yesterday and was surprised how many it said I needed... I'm only a third of my calories in for today and had two meals and two snacks!
Trick my dietician said... if your not hungry, don't eat... if you are then do...but do so in moderation and have a pint of water with each meal...it helps to fill you up so you don't over fill on food
If you download the My Fitness Plan you can input your weight age height etc and it will calculate the number of calories for you. Also provides a food diary where you can write in everything you eat and it will keep a running total of the calories you have consumed. It helps me keep on track
