This is a fantastic drawing of the Aadvark - very skilful and you accomplished a lot in those 4 hours. Have you thought of entering one of those competitions for 'Artist of the Year' - I've enjoyed watching some of those episodes on TV - I think there's one for 'Landscape artists' and also portraits, but maybe there's a generic one... Not sure if you're wanting to do that, but you are very good.
I have heard of those adult colouring books before but never really thought they would be sort of thing and probably not so necessary to me as I draw my own pictures and might colour them in :).
But I am part of an arts and crafts group and that was where I had my first try at an adult colouring book.
I actually quite liked it.
It won’t be something for me to do all the time because I have art to work on but if I am at this craft group I can always choose to do some colouring there :).
And again, very therapeutic and the time whizzes by :).
Yes, it’s very good that I can post my art on here.
Not only is it to show off my talent but also to get myself more recognised.
I am a budding artist at the moment. Some people have seen my art but I’m not well known.
But it’s good that some people further afield, like this lady in Manchester, knows of my art and my aunty and uncle went on a little holiday to Ware ham and they loved the B&B they stayed at and as a ‘thank you’ from my aunt & uncle I drew a picture for the B&B owners that my auntie payed for and when my aunt & uncle went back to Ware ham they passed on the drawing to the owners and they loved it :).
I worked at a zoo doing my graduate work. Specialized in the large cats and wolves. Being face to face with them is amazing such a memorable experience now I have my deer. My husband calls me Mother Nature. Besides my Chesapeake Bay Ret. and cat.
Hello Matt, What an awesome picture, sorry you have had to cop it, we all seem to be in the firing line at the moment. I think it's brilliant and I love seeing your art work
I expect not many of the younger generation do know what an Aardvark actually looks like.
But some people might have some idea if they were a 90s kid and used to watch children TV, like me, cos there used to be a puppet Aardvark on there. I think it's name was Andy the Aardvark or Anthony. Could be Anthony sine Aardvarks are known for eating ants :).
