*Trigger warning *Hi. I am sorry that things are so hard for you.I wanted to ask if you had had access to any therapy for PTSD? The reason I ask is because getting that treated could make a world of difference to several of the conditions that are troubling you.

I have had EMDR therapy for PTSD and it has changed my life. I had several different difficulties, (particularly with my mental health,) but through EMDR I discovered that trauma and the subsequent PTSD and Complex PTSD were at the root of those difficulties. Only today I was reading about the physical problems that PTSD can bring us. (I will try to post the article later.)

If you do get therapy for PTSD, you need to find a therapist who is trained and experienced in trauma focused therapy, as standard therapy can make things worse. I have had that happen twice.

Four years ago I was having problems with suicidal thoughts and I couldn't get any help. I finally found Maytree, a charity which runs a suicide respite centre. You can refer yourself and everything is free. They have a good website. Their number is 020 7263 7070. They are amazing people and they were the beginning of things starting to turn around for me. I think about them every day.

I hope that you can find your way forward.

Sending my best wishes.

Hi insanetigger68,

I'm sorry you are dealing with so many medical issues and that you are not receiving enough support.

Medical issues are very traumatic and there may be some support groups by foundations or organizations that help with particular conditions like Parkinsons.

They might help you access better care.

I know it is extremely tough with do many diagnoses but please keep hope as there are new developments and there might be treatments that can bring breakthrough.

Sending light and hope xx
