Severe muscular tension

I have had severe muscular tension especially in my throat for over 50 years. I have tried everything, but nothing seems to touch it. It is very persistent and intense. It is a clutching almost strangling feeling and often my whole body feels immobilized. I have already done therapy, taken medications, done exercise etc. Any ideas, help or support would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I'm new to this website. Have you heard or tried tapping? I r used the technique to aid me in my anxiety, but not for my pain-yet. The book is called "the tapping solution for pain"

Best wishes

Very much so. It is PSTD which started from abuse from my mother when I was a few days old.

Welcome jaybaba. I'm sorry to hear that you have suffered this way and for so long. Have you heard of TMS - tension myositis syndrome? I don't know if this would be relevant for you but discovering the work of John Sarno and his followers really helped me. All the best.
