my thoughts and prayers are with you and your mom. 🙏🙏🙏
Hi Littlecook,
I am so sorry to hear your news about your dear mother. I am surprised to learn they are even considering such an operation considering your mother's age. As hard as it is to accept at a time like this you need to give yourself a bit of TLC. The toing and throwing back and forth to the hospital can take it's toll as it has in your case. My thoughts are with you and your mother but you must take care of yourself. If you need help my friend then reach out for it. If you need a listening ear you know where we are.
Jillymo Thank you for your kind words, our mother is back at the care home but it's a watch and wait game , my mom doesn't release what's going on we haven't told her we won't to keep her for as long as we can .
Hi,
Since replying to you I have had a read of your profile and like yourself I also suffer the balance issue. I wondered has anyone checked your Folate and B12 ? Mine was found to be low which can cause many of the issues you have spoken off. Just a thought and if not already done so might be worth getting checked out.
Hi.Yes I've had all of the tests I'm just told part of my brain 🧠 isn't working correctly. Thank you once again.
Your not alone on that one. I have had various brain scan's which have shown lesions and small vessel changes. It was I who spotted the low B12 on a blood form which I pointed out to a Dr. I promptly put the results on the PAS sight on here where I got advice from others. Like yourself I also have a list of various ailments.
Best wishes to you and your's.
I am really sorry for you , no wonder why you are anxious, who wouldn't be.
Hope you can find a little me time , some head space.
regards x
Sorry to hear your news. Its tough for anyone when their loved ones are suffering and in pain and very frail. They were also born in a "no fuss" era so you really don't know what they have been suffering with and for how long, plus they don't like to worry us.
Like the others say you need to remember to look after yourself too and breathe and though its difficult try and bring a smile or two to your mothers face.
