Not feeling well today
I feel for you, Littlecook. Please try to get to a reputable balance centre as soon as you can. Many neurologists are clueless when it comes to motion sensation conditions.
I hope that if you haven’t already, go to urgent care. Facial palsy in conjunction with dizziness is concerning. I hope you feel better soon!.
Good afternoon NikkiJRThank you for your reply , I've spent many trips and hours at the A&E department and always being told I'm not having a stroke and it's not bellspalsy again told I need to see my neurologist, only one A&E doctor said I can tell you what's wrong it's NFD but only your neurologist can confirm that .
I've also been to see my doctor who's called for an ambulance said I could be having a stroke but with out arm weakness.
The care home were I work says it'. s not safe for me to work and want let me back until I get a diagnosis, I feel like I'm on the scrapheap at 62 and can't do anything I also have problems with dizziness so find most if not all jobs difficult to do , sorry I'm ranting on but I need to talk to someone besides my wife .
Thank you for listening.
Would a weighted vest help with the dizziness, extra input to let your body know where you are in space.
I am not the sufferer my son was dx with Chronic Pain and FND. Last symptoms headaches and poor sleep. In remission now (touch wood it lasts).
The weighted blanket was a suggestion for your dizziness. Like 210272 says get a referral to a balance centre and address that first and hopefully your stress levels will drop. When we are stressed we release additional cortisol naturally, I am not sure if that would affect the face muscles.
Doesn't look like it does, found this article:

But I can relate to these strange symptoms being stressful and you need to try and relax (if you can) and try not to worry.
Have you had a series of stressful events lately, other than the run around with what we get with the medical professions.
