Fludrocortisone update for low BP.

My community friends.

With thanks to you all for being here.

Higher dosage of fludrocortisone has failed to consistently keep blood pressure readings within normal limits.

The drops in BP have become more frequent with outcomes that are ugly.

For my friends who have medical backgrounds, mean arterial pressure calculations have found their way into the 60s at times.

Talk now is this may be neurogenic hypotension which is enough to send you out to the local watering hole for some quality time.

Docs regrouping to decide on testing and who draws the short straw if it is confirmed. Who knows. Maybe a little luck is due. Overdue.

Suffering is lessened by the roadmap being redrawn with crisp new lines.

Nothing could be better than getting to read from all of you. I read and write when I can.

I thank God for the blessing each and every one of you have brought into my life.

I am in good spirits because of my family and that includes you.

Talk again soon. My love and prayers.

Dan / Seattle

Thanks Ronwyn.

Docs say heart function tests are normal. I greatly appreciate your thinking of this for me.

Do you get high blood pressure when lying down? What I just read about neurogenic hypotension said that happens with some people?

in reply to nurmihusa

Hi Nurmi.

Do not get high BP when lying down . BP falls after being up for while and exerting with any activity.

Thanks so much.

Frown.

Nurmi.

Do not frown. I have a long history of systemic nerve damage. It was only a matter of time.

Still alive and thankful for it.

Definitely look into this. Sorry for late replies. Doing what I can. Your offer is amazing. My oldest daughter lives in Chicago. She comes to see me often these days. Give me little time to figure out and I try to get back to you.

What a good soul you are always caring for others!

No rush my friend!!! I only use 1 brand young living as I know they are therapeutic grade! I take some internally as they are safe to do so !! Had sore throat and glands up to day! So I put a drop of thieves on my young and on my throat and glands now all gone!!

Hi Dan,

I don't know if this would be available or possible, or appropriate but if you are having such long bouts of abnormal MAPs and they think it's neurogenic could they do a brain scan and locate where in the brain this issue is coming from.

Obviously it would have to be in the brain stem the medulla oblongata that area that controls our breathing, HR etc.

But there needs to be some answers as to why you are so unstable.

Did you have an injury in that part of your neck at some point?

And have they exhausted all inotropes, vasopressers?

Im perplexed as to why this is happening now. It seems that a neurogenic shock would be from an accident something more immediate than your many many years of building issues.

Or and I'm just really guessing here that there is degeneration of the bones etc in that portion of your neck that is so prolonged that it is causing this issue.

Either way they should scan and look at your neck

I'm in Bali, leaving today but I went to a coffee place yesterday where they grow the beans and tea leaves and I tried 12 different samples of teas and coffees and they are very serious about the health benefits of each.

Wish there was one I could have sent to you.

But just to make you laugh I did pay 50,000 rupiahs I will post pics later when I get home and onto my computer, to drink their special coffee they make then feed to their animals who eats it, poo it back out and then they clean the poo and keep the beans and make coffee. Tasted just like coffee 😳

Amallia.

Young lady. You should be having fun although I am forever grateful for the incredible thoughts you have proposed.

We talk more when you return safe and sound. That is all I ask for right now.

You did bring a smile with the special coffee. Sounds delicious.

Live for today as you are on a fantastic trip.

Love from Seattle family.
