Cancer nearly killed me

Bladder cancer, Nearly killed me, after the removal of two bladder tumour for ten days I was an emotional wreck. I must say that I prayed for death. Being also diabetic it made it worse. because my immune system was diminished the with BCG treatment made me ill.

Keep positive as it helps in beating cancer, I had a tumor partly removed in December 2015, the rest was treated with Radiotherapy and the secondaries on my lungs are currently being treated with Chemotherapy which is working, I will be scanned in about 8 weeks from now. It is a waiting game and calls for positive pacience and faith in God. Hope all works well for you, praying for you.

My hope and prayer for you is that you are much better now, with cancer a positive spirit is of great help. I had an aggressive tumor partially removed from my bladder last December, the scan in January showed I had secondaries in my lungs. It was decided to tackle the remaining part of the tumor with Radiotherapy, 4 weeks, 20 sessions started the first week in February!, one week later they started the Chemotherapy to tackle the secondaries, after the 9 week cycle they scanned me the results were very encouraging, all the small tumors were gone with the larger ones significantly reduced, another 9 week Chemotherapy session was started it was stopped on week 6 as I was getting too exhausted to continue. I will be having another scan on the 26th September, so for now it is wait. I have some very complex bladder issues to be resolved and have a catheter in since December 2015, this has caused some challenges along the way. My faith is my strength and has brought me this far, my Saviour has given me a positive spirit and I thank God for each new day.
