Waiting on my first TURBT which is scheduled for 3/30/16. Have had A typical cells from last Cystoscopy earlier this month so will have the procedure to see what the heck is going on. Had left kidney, ureter and bladder cuff removed mid April last year and mass located right in the pelvic junction was determined to be transitional cancer. So, perhaps the nasty stuff moved down into the old bladder. While "out" for the upcoming TURBT, the plan is to shoot dye up the remaining ureter (right one) and make sure all is well up there. I am not nor have I ever been a smoker of any type but did receive chemo thirty four years ago at the Bethesda NCI/NIH while in a clinical trial/study for sarcoma. Took Adriamycin (sp?) and Cyroxin which has been attributed to possibly CAUSING cancer. Oh, I am going to be 80 later this year so I guess time is kinda catching up with my old carcass.

Neglected to mention that I had prostate cancer five years ago and chose the Brachytherapy method to kill the cancer. This is the process of inserting numerous radioactive pellets directly into the prostate. PSA staying right close to zero 0.1
