Hi there, no I haven't, but have heard of this treatment being referred to as the cold treatment and that it is very good so will be interested to hear your replies
Hi Madmeg11, I will let you know how I get on. Just a bit unsure of what to expect!
Hi Ashton1974 , I see this is your first post so I would like to welcome you here. Have you seen our Mother Site fmauk.org ? Here you will find heaps of information, includng links and guides.
Is the infusion being offered to you because of your Rheumatoid Arthritis? I have not heard of it being offered for fibro so that would be a new one for me.
I would be interested too in any replies.
Have you been on the RA site? They may be able to answer your query better, as if that is a routine method of pain relief, there will be more people who have experienced it. Not that I am trying to gt rid of you of course!
Hope to see you around the forum

Hello Ashton- I,ve had an emergency infusion during a bad spell of fibro, it was done at A&E, they gave me 1gr of paracetamol, and yes it made a hugh difference, IF you should find yourself in a very painful state then do not be afraid to go A&E we are not expected to suffer excrutiating pain (and everyones level of pain differs) they will help you.
Hi Ashton1974 although you joined a while ago, I see this is your 1st post, so firstly I would like to welcome to our wonderful forum ☺ I'm sure you will come to find the forum invaluable in chatting to others who are going through the same experience as you, talking to others at different stages of their lives with Fibro and learning from their experiences.
I have not had this treatment but I know there are members that have had it. As bluebell99 says, this is more a treatment for arthritis that isn't being managed with other medications. I'm sure you will get more replies from other members who have had them & tell you their own experiences. I think you have 2 treatments, or it could be more, which are spaced out over a period of a few months. I also think it takes a few hrs to have the infusion but again, don't quote me on that cos I've never had them, just telling you what I've heard.
Hope this helps my friend & i wish you luck
Peace, luv n light
